Anita Kline truely has the best tasting cake I have ever had! I would highly recommend her. Like everyone says, she books up quickly, so make sure you can fit in a tasting as soon as possible. With the tasting she invites you over to her house and her house is so warm and inviting. Anita bakes the cakes from scratch and from her house, so if you're looking for a big box cake shop, this is not for you. We received so many compliments on our cake and would hire her again!

Anita did an amazing job on our wedding cake! She was recommended to us by my mother-in-law, and I was a little hesistant at first because she didn't have a website, but as soon as I met her I knew that she would do a great job on our cake! She has extremely reasonable prices and you can tell she really enjoys what she is doing, which is so nice to see. We met her at her home and she not only let us pick multiple flavors to try, but she also had extra samples we hadn't asked for. She showed us pictures of cakes she had done before and they were so smooth that my husband and I figured it was covered in fondant, which neither of us like. We were so pleasantly surprised when she told us that she smooths the buttercream to look like fondant! Amazing! She also decorated the cake table for us and it looked gorgeous. We couldn't be happier! Our experience with her was great. She doesn't need a website- her superb work speaks for itself! All she needs is word of mouth to stay busy.

We cannot say enough about Anita! When we first met her, we knew that we'd found the right cake vendor. She was very sweet and very knowledgable. We did not have an exact vision of what we wanted our cake to look like, but only had ideas and a theme. She was able to create the most perfect and beautiful cake for us. Aside from the outside image of the cake, it tasted DELICIOUS!!! Love this lady and would recommend her to anyone!!

Anita is amazing! Her cakes are so delicious and moist. She has the best value, and she covers her cake in delicious buttercream rather than fondant! After our HM (which was two weeks), people were still consistently telling us how good the cake is. We had The Union box up 2-3 pieces off each flavor of cake (we had 5 flavors), so when we got to our hotel room, we chowed down on it! It was sooooo delicious. I will probably try to get an anniversary cake from her, and convince DH he should start getting b-day cakes for me from her.

Anita was amazing! I can't say enough good things about the work that she does. She was so wonderful to work with, and I don't think that I ever waited 24 hours for a response to any question that I had. We had a cupcake tower and large cupcake at the top to cut, and all of it was delicious! She was so easy to work with, and her cake was absolutely amazing! I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone.

Anita was absolutely wonderful. Our cake was delicious and it looked exactly like I'd envisioned it would. I had a picture of a similar cake that was made with fondant and I asked her to make it with butter cream, she accommodated my request and the cake was a complete success!!! I would highly recommend Anita, I don't think you'll be disappointed!

Anita is one of the, if not the, most highly recommended vendors on this message board and it is warranted. She delivers 100% all around. First, she is a joy to work with from the start. Even before booking for her services, she invites you into her beautiful home to sample her delicious cake, fillings, and icing. She is quick to respond to communications and very willing to be creative with designs. Second, as I mentioned above, her cake is some of the best I have ever had. She uses only butter cream icing (see below for comments on how gorgeous her decorating is despite not using fondant) and her choices are amazing. We had such a hard time deciding between all the great flavors that we decided on a five-tier cake, and she even split some of the layers between different flavors. Third, I gave her a picture of a cake I found on the internet and she nailed it! Not that my design was something super complicated, but it required some work and hers was an exact match to the picture. I could not believe how smooth she got the icing to look using just butter cream. Finally, Anita’s prices are very reasonable to begin, but she also works on her own and from her home, so none of the overhead from employees and storefronts are passed on to the client. Anita goes above and beyond what other vendors do (ex. Letting you sample her product before committing to book her services).

Anita is great! She is a joy to work with and does beautiful work for a fraction of what she could charge. We had three different flavors, which were all delicious, and the cake was gorgeous. She uses buttercream icing but it looks like fondant on the outside. If you are interested in her you should meet with her early though because she books quickly!

Anita has the best cake I have ever tasted. She made cupcakes for my wedding and they were wonderful. I really cant say anything more than, she is awesome!

I have nothing to say but awesome reviews for Anita Kline. She was one of the best vendors to work with and really made planning easy, especially as I was planning from outside the Columbus area. At the cake tasting, she sat down and chatted with my mother and I for a number of hours -- she takes a friendly professional approach. She makes the cakes out of her BEAUTIFUL home, and that is where all the meetings are conducted. Even though she doesn't have a large bakery "shop" or "store", her cakes are done with SUCH care and perfectionism. She meets with you until she has the perfect understanding of what the bride wants for her cake -- and will strive to make it as close as possible! I cannot tell you how many positive raves we got about the cake -- we waited until after dinner and first dance to cut the cake so that people can get a good chance to see it! Our photographer went to town taking pictures of it as well, it was just SO perfect and elegant. I seriously couldn't have dreamed of a better cake. She even handpainted sugar flowers of different shapes and sizes that scaled the tiers of the cake! I will continue to shout from the rooftops that everybride should at least meet with Anita and taste her delicious cake. Not only does she make a beautiful cake, it tastes AMAZING. She has so many wonderful cake flavors and fillings to choose from -- perfect combinations!!! So if your looking for a cake that is beautiful and still tastes fabulous -- and to work with a vendor who has the bride and groom and heart, call Anita, you won't be dissapointed. As I said, out of ALL the vendors, she worked with me in a very personal and friendly way. Can't wait to dig into the top at our 1 year anniversary!!! Yummmm!!!

Omg!!! Can we say yummy! We were extreamely happy with our cake, it was exactly what we had talked about and tasted so good! We are always giving your name out to everyone we know!

I cannot say enough good things about her. Sweetest lady, with a talent for making beautiful and delicious cakes! We chose to serve our all our guests 2 flavors: white almond with raspberry mousse filling (my fav!) and spice with white chocolate mousse (tasted like carrot cake without the veggies), for only $3 a slice. She made the buttercream icing look as smooth as fondant, recreated the lace design on my dress beautifully, and matched the colors exactly to our invites and cake topper. If you're unsure of what to do, like I was, she will walk you through to help you decide on the design. She also helped me surprise my husband with a groom's cake at the reception. My husband loved the banana with banana mousse filling form the tasting, so Anita and I decided that the banana cake on top, dark chocolate on bottom, and banana mousse in the middle of the same tier would be delicious. My husband teared a little when he saw it and insisted the cake was passed to the tables before it was cut! We received so many compliments from both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding, and I have to agree it was the most delicious wedding cake I have ever tasted. And it tasted just as good for a week after the wedding!
