You can tell the owner is very knowledgeable about wedding dresses, styles, and how they are made. I traveled from Cleveland to the shop because I was interested in Simone Carvalli gowns, and no one in Cleveland caries them. She caries a great variety of one of a kind dresses. I only had one issue - when my dress came back from being made, it was 2 inches too short. This was not an error on Bella Laccio's part. However, she did suggest to me that steaming the dress would correct the problem. Though I was not convinced myself, I took her suggestion because she has received many dresses that were shipped in boxes. So I drove all the way back to Cleveland with my dress, steamed it to the point my mother told me I was going to burn the thing, to only try it on again and have it be too short. I think the dress could have been re-steamed there for me, and I could have been re-measured so the error could have been caught sooner, to save me 2 more trips to Columbus. Overall, a good experience, except for one little aspect.

Bella Laccio was the vendor I chose for the pressing and steaming of my wedding dress. Jen of Bella Laccio came highly recommended from my wedding planner, The Finer Things Event Planning, and my alterations lady, Linda Hine. Jen was easy to work with and very nice.

23 days before my wedding I decided I was not happy with my wedding dress and couldn't wear it on my big day! I remembered a friend recommended Bella Laccio Bridal in Westerville, so I took a chance and emailed Jennifer asking if she could help. My Mother and I made an appointment for 2 days later hopeful that I would find a dress. Not only did I find a dress, but I found MY DREAM DRESS. Shopping at Bella Laccio is the way wedding dress shopping should be. Jennifer was amazing. I left that Friday night with my dream dress in hand and Jennifer helped me coordinate an appointment the very next day with Peg (the most amazing seamstress). I left my beautiful new dress in her hands and had not one worry that when I picked it up, it would be perfect. My whole perspective and dress experience changed that Friday evening. Dealing with courteous, professional people make the experience so much more special. At the other "dress shop" (using that term loosely) I felt that I was being "forced" to accept a dress that was not coming together like I envisioned. After meeting with Jennifer, I actually lost sleep from excitement of wearing my dress rather than from distress. My husband was confused (but happy) as to why I suddenly LOVED my dress...I couldn't wait to tell him about my experience at Bella Laccio. He finally found out when I told him during our first dance...he said he would have spent a million dollars on that dress.

I found my dream dress at Bella Laccio! I had trouble deciding between two different dresses and Jen suggested we combine them for a one-of-a-kind dress. I had no idea you could even do that! We used the style from one dress and the fabric from another to make my perfect dress. I was thrilled! Not only was the dress perfect, but no one else would have one just like it! Jen was great to work with and a real professional.

My favorite aspect of Bella Laccio was that at no point did I feel pressured to purchase; I felt like Jen sincerely wanted me to have the dress that was best for me, and if that wasn’t at her shop that would have been ok with her. Ironically, this made me want to purchase from her even more and I was lucky enough to find my wedding dress, a short dress for the reception, my veil, and my necklace at her location. In addition, Jen was willing to hold my dress for me at her shop for months until I was ready to get it altered. She went over and above in her kindness, and made me feel like I was dress shopping with a girlfriend.
