I unfortunately purchased my dress from this store. I had thought I would be meeting with Kristen - who I had heard RAVE reviews about. Unfortunately, I was assisted by the "owner" who was horrid. So over the top...don't know what i was thinking. Would never suggest to any friends and have told them all about White of Dublin - which is where I eventually went (that's right...I bought TWO dresses because I wanted to feel like a bride while shopping for my gown). Tell your owner to STAY away...she's awful to deal with...

Everything came in on time and looked great. I went there because they carry Haute bridal accessories which I love. I gave them a B because I went there during a trunk show and they had a 10% discount. When it was decided that I need to pay for rush shipping to make sure everything came in on time, she said well I can just waive the rush shipping charge instead of the 10%. I ran the calculations in my head and the 10% off still saved me an additional $20. Not much in the grand scheme of things, and ultimately I paid for the shipping and just took the 10% off. Just found it a little weird.

Last September my husband and I planned a trip from California back to Columbus for a football game. I had some ideas of what I wanted for my rehearsal dinner dress and found one by a designer that I knew had quality designs. I called a few shops here in California and was met with horrible customer service and demanding sales consultants. I never even went in to one of their shops. When I called Big Rock, Kristen answered with pep in her voice and was so helpful. She borrowed a few designs for me to see when I visited and I chose one within an hour. She was such a delight to work with! Having worked in the demanding bridal industry myself for 5 years prior, I knew what a gem she was. She shipped the dress to me when it was ready and I had my own seamstress tailor it for me. I would recommend this shop to anyone, even those not in the area. The customer service and experience in their adorably decorated shop is beyond worth it!

We shopped at several bridal stores and none compared to the wonderful experience we had at Big Rock. Kristen Cooke is the sweetest person, gives you her undivided attention (we were the only ones in the store when we came to try on dresses), and will do anything to get you what you want. She was the only one who suggested buying extra fabric to make straps (we didn't want a strapless gown) and we really came to think of her as a friend and ally and not someone who wanted to sell us something. She contacted Vera Wang for us to ask about bustling suggestions. She even offered to drive our dress personally (we live 2 hours away) to a dry-cleaner in Columbus who specializes in cleaning/preserving wedding gowns after the wedding. We'll never forget finding "the dress" at Big Rock, Little Rooster. It was one of the best memories of our wedding planning.

The girls in the shop were so helpful. They had jewelry vendors in all the time so we could see all different types of jewelry. My bridesmaids got all of their dresses from here and they did a champagne toast for us. When my maid of honor needed help for the bachelorette party Kristen gave her a ton of great places to go and vendors to look into. They went above and beyond, 100%. I got my dress, jewelry, veil, and all my bridesmaids dresses here because I loved what they sold, the atmosphere was so warm and inviting. They were by far the nicest employees of any dress shop I went to.

Having planned my wedding from afar, Big Rock Little Rooster totally came through for me! The store is in a great trendy area and the inside of the store and the dresses match the area!One of the things I really appreciated is the individual care the store offers - they lock the front doors per each individual bride. How awesome!! We had the entire store to ourselves - which had an amazing selection and they walk with you and talk about exactly what you were envisioning. My dress was a Romona Keveza, and it fit like it was MADE for my body. I have never received so many compliments on my attire -- everyone gasped when I put the dress on! It was elegant and stunning and fit my body like a glove. When we decided on a dress, they popped champagne and gave us cheesecake from a nearby shop!! We took pictures and relaxed! Oh -- I visited four stores, and none of them let us take pictures of the dresses, Big Rock let us!! Big plus! Also -- two days before my wedding I realized that getting a steam treatment done to the dress would be awesome before the big day. I called the store and they had me bring it in that very day and had it ready for me the next day -- they even steamed the vail and the sash! When I pulled out my wallet the girl gave me a hug and said of course it's free of charge!They are extremely excited for their brides and want to make it a wonderful experience.I wouldn't have gone anywhere else!! Perfect! I took off a little bit of points due to playing phone tag a lot, they didn't readily answer their phone, but then again I think this is because when a bride is in their store, they offer their FULL ATTENTION! Go here girls -- awesome awesome looking place, totally trendy, amazing assortment, and they know their dresses!

The store looks great, the product assortment is different than anything in Columbus (although I would say it's comparable to Saks when they had a bridal salon in town), and I love the boutique experience. I ordered my accessories from there because they carried Haute Bride and they had a huge catalog I could order from and the line's pieces just so happened to match a brooch piece in a flower on my dress. I ordered a headband, bracelet, and earrings- all of which could be tweaked to match what I wanted. The quality of the pieces were incredible, Swarovski crystal with darker metal, all pieces were durable and looked great. Ordering was easy and the turnaround time was 4-6 weeks. I can easily wear the jewelry again, which for me was key because the particular pieces I ordered were a little pricey. But the jewelry was the perfect icing on the cake and looked amazing with my dress!
