Blue Skies HD Video

I ansolutely loved Blue Skies! Julie and Chris were so professional and easy to work with. When I initially watched their videos, I was very impressed with the quality of the picture and sound. When I received my wedding video, I was equally happy and impressed! Chris did a wonderful job at my wedding! All of the most important events were captured and they went out of their way to make me happy! He even provided direction for wedding party when my wedding planner went missing. They are truly a team of professionals!I must also say that videography was something I thought that I might be able to do without, but after reading so many reviews from different websites where couples said they were so happy that they did it, I am SO glad I did to! The extra money was worth it for videography! I also ordered extra copies to give as gifts for our parents.I highly recommend Blue Skies. Their talent, quality and attention to detail is unparalleled.

I highly recommend Blue Skies HD video! Julie was great! She was professional, fun and very creative! From our initial meeting, I knew we were in good hands. She showed us several of their previous videos and we loved them all! I was the most excited for our wedding video and I was not disappointed! It turned out better than I ever could have imagined! Blue Skies is great!

Wow! Bring on the tears!That is definitely the best way I can find to describe the results of working with Blue Skies. They were so much fun to work with from day one. I can't express how much I hate pictures/video of myself, so I was semi-dreading the day of the wedding, having these teams with us. However, Julie and Chris made us comfortable throughout the whole day. I barely noticed them there! It ended up raining, but they worked with us to get amazing shots in between rain spells. They got back to us so quickly after the wedding, I was in shock. We hadn't picked out songs for our video, yet! They worked with us to get all those details ironed out, and the end result was beautiful. I sat on my couch and cried all the way through the video. They were an absolutely amazing vendor to choose, and I can't express how well worth the investment they are.

This vendor will go above and beyond to make sure your day runs smoothly and to meets your requests. I am actually a returning customer who has chosen to use Blue Skies in my secong wedding as well as my first. Having their personally crafted, artistic, and detailed video memior of my day was the best thing about my wedding. My family and I still watch it and notice lots of funny and cherished memories that we are so happy did not go unnoticed.

Im not sure what "sas19740" was talking about. They must have had unobtainabe expectations. I had an amazing experience with Blue Skies. They completely understood what we both wanted. If all our vendors where as awesome as them, we would have been golden. Not only did they do a great professional job with our wedding, but they understood the way we wanted with our video. I recommend them to everyone. They are truly the best in this area and I would challenge anyone to find someone better.

My husband and I hired Blue Skies for our July 17, 2010 wedding in Columbus. Given all the costs that go into a wedding, I thought a videographer was just an extra that would be "nice to have if money wasn't as issue". However, that all changed in June (only one-month before my wedding!) when I saw the video Julie and Chris did for my cousin---it was truly amazing! I recommend every bride view some of Blue Skie's work because words can't describe how great it is! Right after I saw my cousin's video, I went home and emailed Blue Skies, but unforunately, they were booked for my date. So while heartbroken, I was now set on having a videographer and explored most other videographers in town. But after seeing video samples from the others,to put it nicely, it just doesn't compare. So long story short, Julie and Chris' were able to rearrgance some of their associates to shot our wedding (since Julie and Chris were booked) and Julie and Chris did all the editing. We recently received our wedding video and we love it! We will cherish it forever- thank you Julie and Chris!!

Julie and Chris were wonderful! Julie helped me in many more ways than just the video. She gave great advice to deal with the order or things and how to deal with the Country Club! I have always felt so comfortable working with Julie and have seen their work from other weddings. What a great comfort to know that they captured all of the moments that I probably forgot!

Very disappointing experience, expected a lot because they came very highly recommended, paid them a lot because we believed they were worth it, and got very little in return. The first edited video was very lazily put together, 95% of customs and traditions we discussed prior to the wedding were not there, tried a 2nd edit after a very detailed outline was developed, met and discussed all the changes, and still did not get what they promised. After $4,100 for videotaping a 500+ in attendance wedding, we don't have a video we can be proud of to show our families and friends. They have cut off all further discussions and we are stuck not having the video of our dreams to showcase the wedding of our dreams. What a shame...I would never recommend them to any bride, whether I knew them or not.Update 2/10/2012: It's been almost two years since the wedding and I have tried to resolve the above issues with Blue Skies, I have made many attempts to contact them including with an attorney; I have had no success in getting this issue resolved to re-edit the video to include important events that were totally missing from the final product. Short of going to court to fight them, I have no hope that anything will be done. Again, I feel betrayed by Blue Skies, I paid them a large sum of money, and still do not have the video that I wanted nor expected. Future brides, don't get fooled by the hype of Blue Skies, they are over rated, over priced, and deliver poor quality product at the end.

I'm pretty sure my entire extended family has now seen it one way or the other, and as you know we're very excited to see what you have in store for (my cousin) Kelly's video. She watched the video almost everyday prior to her wedding, and she and I agree that the 8 mm footage is our favorite. Now to future clients.....you might be hard pressed to find two people (Chris & Julie) who are easier to work with or who make your more comfortable on your big day. We felt as though we were just hanging out with good friends who happened to give us a fantastic wedding memory, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Thanks again!! :)

Julie and Chris at Blue Skies have an amazing style that cannot be found with any other videographer. Blue Skies will make you look, and feel, like movie stars!! When I watch my friends' wedding videos, it always looks like someone got handed a camcorder and a spotlight and walked around. Not so with Blue Skies. They have the best equipment money can buy, so good that they are the only videographer in Columbus that does NOT use that annoying spotlight! This was why we hired them initially, but we've also come to know them as positive, friendly, and energetic people who are extremely passionate about filming weddings! You will not go wrong with Blue Skies!

Blue Skies did a fabulous job and the video turned out better than we could have ever hoped for. They were amazing to work with and made the entire process more enjoyable! I would highly recommend them!!

Blue Skies Wedding Productions were the videographers for our wedding. Both Chris and Julie Hedrick were our videographers and they did an incredible job. The edited video matched our personality and they used our songs from the day. The careful attention to detail and careful coordination between them and the other vendors made for a very thorough video. They are the best of the best, and I have already recommended them to friends of mine who are just starting their wedding planning.Their website doesn't even begin to show how well they edit and cater their video productions to meet a specific feeling, tradition, ambiance, and personality. You must sit down with them and see their reel and really get a sense of what they can do! They were perfect!

Best money spent for our wedding was with Blue Skies Video.

These people were really great. There was a mishap where their extra videoguy forgot to use the setting for flourscent lighting. Thank God another one was there to be able to capture good video. Had there not been a second person, we would have been so devastated. I know it was a problem, he lost his job over it. It doesn't fix that the clip of my dad walking me down the aisle was so dark...but they did what they could to fix it. My sister is still using them.
