I LOVE CAKE DOT!This was the most beautiful and delicious wedding cake I have ever had. I wish I could share photo's with you so you can see what she does, but if you look at her website, mine is 699! I LOVE it!!If you want a truly spectacular cake, order from Cake Dot, you will not have a worry!

Dottie with Cake Dots in Columbus, Ohio created the most gorgeous wedding cake for our wedding on June 6, 2010. She made a off white three tier cake in the shapes of hearts that was surrounded with gorgeous flowers that I brought in to her. She is incredibly artistic! The cake was so beautiful I just can not explain it in words, I have several pictures that I would love for everyone to see so that they can see how beautiful my cake was.Not only was the cake beautiful but the taste was heavenly! Never should you sacrifice beauty for taste and this cake HAD IT ALL! The cake was so moist and every guest at our wedding shared compliments on the cake and wanted to know who made such a fantastic cake!For a small amount you can also have the cake delivered so that on your big day you do not have to worry about a thing-BELIEVE ME IT IS WORTH IT!You had incredible beauty, great taste, affordable pricing, delivery, and a consultation which equals one VERY happy bride.

I was literally brought to tears looking at the beautiful cake Dot had made for our wedding! Every detail of the cake was perfect and so much more than we could have imagined! All of our guests kept saying we shouldn't cut the cake because it was so pretty! :) Not only was the cake gorgeous but the cake tasted heavenly! Can't wait to eat the frozen portion on our anniversary! I will definetly be calling Dot again if I need a birthday cake or any other occasion cake! Thanks Dot!

Cake Dot was the first vendor we looked into and didn't need to go any further. Honestly, I loved her sense of humor and honesty the most. She is very funny and down to earth, which was nice to have during a stressful time of planning. She is very knowledgable in her profession and her pricing could not be matched. As for the cake, absolutely amazingly beautiful and so delicious. My groom and I, along with all of our guests we very pleased with the cake. So yummy. You can't go wrong with Cake Dots, I promise you that.

We loved Cake Dots wedding cakes! Dot helped us figure out the dimensions of our cake and also offered helpful suggestions to give our wedding cake a little extra sparkle, such as...glitter frosting!!! Our 3 tiers of White, White with Raspberry and Snickerdoodle cake were scruptious. I saw many guest going back for 2nds. In addition to our traditional wedding cake, Dot and Tad also created a 3 foot statue of our Chocolate lab, Jordan. It was the talk of the reception! It totally exceeded our expectations. It was our WOW factor and the cake was heavenly,also. It was an extremely moist chocolate cake with a peanut butter filling... YUM-MY! We had a wonderful time working with Tad and Dot and are looking forward to working with them in the future!

I loved Dottie and my cake was beautiful, exactly what I wanted, she did a beautiful job. I got a lot of compliments on how pretty my cake was and how it tasted so fabulous. I highly recommend!!!

Dottie was so easy and fun to work with and truly created the wedding cake of our dreams! She was very flexible (within reason!) and also worked hard to come up with a way to create the awesome surprise log cabin grooms cake that I had imagined! Not only did the cakes look absolutely gorgeous, they tasted absolutely amazing as well! The price was also reasonable for everything we got, which is definitely a bonus! Thank you Cake Dots :)

Cake Dots was an exceptional vendor to work with, and I can say with ease that she far exceeded any expectation that I could have ever had. My husband and I requested a winter-like candy castle, and we got nothing less. The cake was magnificent, and it easily stole the show at our wedding reception. Since the wedding, I've probably had (another) 15 people ask me who "created" our cake on top of having to answer that question about 100 times at the wedding reception!And then, once we finally convinced ourselves that we actually had to cut into the cake, everyone was ten times more surprised that something so beautiful could taste so amazing. Cake Dots is an exceptional artist, a delightful vendor and she was able to make one of our dreams come true.

I was so pleased with our wedding cake! Not only did it taste incredible, but it was visually stunning. We asked for "twisted rope" around the base of each layer of our cake, thinking that it would be simple to do. I found out later that rope is one of the hardest things to do - but Dottie and Tad went above and beyond to make sure that our cake was perfect. They even ordered a rope making "tool" from texas! They LOVE making cake. It is their passion, and it shows.

Her cake was beautiful and tasted the best out of all the ones we tasted! I never had to worry about anything. The cakes were on time and set up just as we wanted. Everyone complimented us on them and there were no slices left! Everyone had at least 2 slices. And our frog groom's cake was beautiful!

Cake Dot is an incredible baker and decorator! Oops, I forgot to mention the wonderfully delicious tasting cake....oh my gosh! A year later we still get compliments on the cake and in fact our first anniversary is tomorrow and everyone is inviting themsleves over not to see us but to eat the brides layer which has been frozen for a year! She was a pleasure to work with and the cake was delivered and set up just as planned. Most amazing was the creativity Cake Dot used in interpreting what I wanted for my dream cake. We had 3 flavors of cake and not a morsel was left on anyone's plate...a true testimony of any wedding cake! I can't thank Cake Dot enough or recommend her enough for making our day even more spectacular!

Cake Dot was wonderful to work with. Our wedding reception was held in Newark, OH, and she made the 45 minute drive without question to deliver our cake. Not only did the cake look elegant, but it tasted divine. It was such a reasonable price, and it was worth every penny. I highly recommend this vendor to others who live in the Columbus area.

Our cake was incredible!! We shopped around for a little while among the more expensive cake vendors. But we heard from a friend how tasty Dottie's cakes were. So we booked an tasting with her, and we loved her personality - her and her husband made us feel like family - and the cake was hands down the best we tried.On the day of the wedding, the cake was beautiful and we received so many compliments on how good it was.

I had a great experience with Cake Dots. My cake was fabulous, it was covered with snowflakes and edible glitter. Everyone loved it. We still get compliments on how delicious and beautiful it was, 3 years later. Our rehearsal dinner cake was also awesome. It was Block "O" with enough buckeyes on it for the entire bridal party and children at the dinner. (#197, and #198 on cake dots web site) My husband loved his buckeye cake, he is an OSU Alum. She also did my shower cake, also covered with snowflakes. The top layer of the cake (one year later) tasted as good as the day of the wedding. I would reccomend this company to any one. And, I will hopefully be able to come back to her to do a baby shower cake in the near future.

I can't recommend Cake Dot enough. From the second you walk in for your consultation, you'll feel right at home. Her smile and warmth will put you immediately at ease as she helps you choose the perfect cake for your wedding. She is patient and will provide the right amount of input you need to help in your decision. With all the individual attention, you would think her prices would be the highest in the Columbus area. It is exactly the opposite! Cake Dot's prices are amazingly reasonable compared to other vendors. She made a gorgeous cake for my wedding. It was as beautiful as it was delicious. You absolutely cannot go wrong in choosing Cake Dot. I know you'll be glad you did!

CakeDot was wonderful. My sister and I went to meet with her and after talking with her and seeing her work I didn't need to go anywhere else. Her cake was DELICIOUS. When she delivered the cake to the location she talked with other members of my family and my photographer and they only had good things to say. My photographer's wife asked for her card to hand out because she was so impressed with the cake and CakeDot herself. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Dottie was professional, friendly, helpful, and understanding through the whole process (not to mention the price was fantastic for a young couple just starting out!) When I started shopping, I had no real idea what we were looking for in a cake, but Dottie assisted me as we flipped through wedding cake book after book until we had put together the perfect cake. If you want a creative cake that looks like what she plans - Cake Dot is yoiur lady! I have received more comments on my wedding cake than anything else at my wedding. It was PERFECT and exceeded our expectations. If I had to make the choice again it would be simple. And cannot wait until other family gets married in Columbus to have her cake again!!

The moment I decided to call cake dots and spoke to them I felt like I had made the best possible choice for my wedding cake. When it was time to set up a consultation they were very accomodating with her samples of cake flavors. She will be honest with you by telling you what would work best but still keeping in mind what you want. Cake Dots not only met but far exceeded my expectations(which are very high). You will NOT be disappointed.
