If Karen is available, don't waste your time looking for anyone else. When I was pricing cakes I noticed that many bakers started with a base price and by the time your cake is designed, you'd be spending more than twice as much as the base price. Karen's price is comparable to others' base price and then she decorates it however you want with NO ADDED COSTS. Also, we all know that fondant does not taste that great. Karen's design skills on buttercream is AMAZING! So you can get a beautiful cake (more beautiful than with fondant in my opinion) and your whole cake, including the outer icing, is delicous. We were able to make each tier different flavors without any additional costs. The cake was delicous and we will be ordering cakes from Karen in the future. My husband is already asking for a butter pecan cake for his birthday. I can't imagine a more beautiful or more delicious cake at any price.

Karen was FANTASTIC! Not only did she make a cake specifically with the ingredients I wanted, but she met with us as many times as needed to get all the details just so. The cake was delicious and she was the most reasonably priced vendor we found.

Karen with Cakes of Elegance was superb. I wanted a very special, very large, very fun cake and she made that possible. She went above and beyond when making my wedding cake. I was in shock with excitment when we got to the reception and saw the cake she made for me. It was exactly if not more than what I wanted and I can not thank her enough. I would highly recommened Karen to make your wedding cake. Especially if you want a fun cake made with lots of passion and love.

We got our wedding cake through Cakes of Elegance and the taste was amazing! The cake was so moist and chocolate cake with vanilla custard filling was a perfect match. We received many compliments on it at our wedding. Karen was great to work with and her prices cannot be beat. We shopped around beforehand and definitely feel we got the best cake at a great price. I would recommend her to any bride.
