Capital Club

I can't begin to express my heartfelt gratefulness to Diana Holt and all the staff at the Capital Club for making our wedding day perfect. Every detail was thought of and when we ran into issues during the day of the wedding, the staff was quick and responsive, problem-solving and doing whatever they could to make us and our guests happy. At one point it seemed I had a waiter who was just following me around to see if I needed water. The hall was spectacular and while it is shaped a bit differently than most halls, there was never a moment that our guests missed. The food was spectacular. I have received so many good compliments from my guests about how amazing the food was and even guests who attended that were caterers complimented the venue on the food and presentation. The cake room was decorated exactly the way we imagined and Diana never left out a detail. Everything was perfect. I just want to thank the Capitol Club for all their help and hard work and suggest that if you have the opportunity and want to have your reception downtown, please see the Capitol Club. We even had a bar set up on their balcony overlooking the river and during the night fireworks from the Stadium lit up the sky and added something special. It was an amazing experience and the value for their options and service is beyond compare. My father has decided that in the future every event he will be going to the Capital Club for their value, service and they will work with you on pricing and options to best meet your needs.

Beautiful venue, great food, superior service. Be aware that they sell the venue for up to 150 guests but seemed VERY small for 130. Better for smaller receptions. Also the terrace is beautiful, but the door allowed heat to come in and the reception was uncomfortably hot for my guests. I would be cautious to use this venue in the heat of summer.
