Shauna did an awesome job for me. This venue was accommodating in every way. All of my guests felt right at home for the weekend. JT worked it out. The banquet rooms were emmaculate. The Marriott will take care of all of your needs.

One of the best decisions we made for our wedding was to have our reception at the Columbus Airport Marriott. It was just pure joy working with Shauna Philabaum, the event coordinator, and the entire facility and staff was wonderful. Every step of the process from visiting for the first time, to booking, planning, taste testing...it was just simply wonderful. And the food was fantastic! Many of our guests commented that they had been to very few better-catered events. We really liked the layout of the atrium and ballroom also. It looked so beautiful on our wedding day. But the thing that was most valuable above all to me (the bride) was that I had absolutely nothing to worry about at the reception because Shauna and the rest of the staff were so attentive to every detail. They are wonderful!

Immediately after meeting with Shauna, the highly capable and responsive wedding coordinator at The Marriott, I knew that not only had I found "the venue" but also that I could relax and not stress about the reception portion of the wedding! Shauna's relaxed yet professional demeanor really let me know that my event was in good hands! For my fiance and I, our wedding budget was THE deciding factor in which venue we could choose, but it was also very important to us to serve high quality food. With the Columbus Airport Marriott we found an excellent balance of both! We were able to serve the top quality dinner we wanted, plus host a classy cocktail hour, and have an elegant ballroom setting, while still staying within our budget. Regarding the flexibility, we were able to have our own cake baker, as well as unique decorations. We used the beautiful centerpieces the Marriott provided but added a few additional decorative elements to them, which was actually pretty labor-intensive for the staff, but they executed the look perfectly! We also had some non-traditional wedding favors (wine lamps) for each of our guests, which the staff also set out for us beautifully -- creating a very elegant atmosphere. We also hosted our rehearsal dinner at The Marriott Columbus Airport, in a private setting with food from their in-house restaurant River City Grille. The room in which the rehearsal dinner was hosted was very nicely decorated, we stayed within our strict budget, and the entire event REALLY surpassed my expectations! The staff and management really do take service very seriously here. I highly recommend The Columbus Airport Marriott to any bride on a budget but who isn't willing to sacrifice on service, quality, or style!

We used the airport Marriott for our hotel for out of town guests and our rehearsal dinner, and the facility was wonderful. The guest rooms were very comfortable. The hospitality room allowed our guests to have a place to gather (and a place to put out cookies that my friends helped me bake). Shauna Philabaum, the sales coordinator, was VERY responsive and was wonderful about responding to requests. She and the chef worked with us to make the rehearsal dinner affordable, and even agreed to to serve the tables "family style," which they had never done before (the meatballs were fabulous!). They also allowed us to bring in our own desserts (from Pistacia Vera), for no additional fee. The servers were very friendly as well. The hotel provided a complimentary shuttle to the synagogue for both Saturday services and the wedding on Sunday. I am so glad we used their services and would definitely recommend them.
