Janelle was very good at relating to people. Her warmth and sense of humor served her well in sensitive situations. She is easy to talk to and has great ideas. She was very detail oriented and kept everyone informed of what was going on, and when. Her follow through was excellent. I highly recommend her services.

I was looking for an affordable and helpful wedding coordinator for day- of service. I received a prompt and very informative phone call within minutes of my inquiry. Janelle Marie Events worked within my budget, and provided me with a very fleixible payment plan. Although I initially only signed up for day-of service, I met with them several times throughout the planning process, to ensure no detail went unnoticed. I highly reccommend their services! Our wedding was absolutely beautiful and flawless!!

Janelle did a FANTASTIC job at our wedding. I chose Janelle's "Simply Enjoy It" package because I was having an outdoor wedding and wanted to make sure the details of the big day would be taken care of. She did so much more than the package listed. She definitely went above and beyond. She would be out shopping and see something that would fit great in to my wedding theme and call me and tell me about it. She would email me sites of different wedding items that I was looking for so I could narrow things down a little easier. She is very flexible and easy to communicate with. She is quick to respond to email, text, etc. The nerves were gone on the big day because she was running the show. I didn't have to worry about a thing. I would highly recommend Janelle. We still keep in touch and are getting together soon for lunch to look at my wedding pictures. I'm so glad I met Janelle and got to work with her. I think Janelle would be a good planner for people with $22,500+ budget. We had a $10,000 wedding, and she was unable to provide many ideas to keep us within our budget (I had to do much of the vendor searching on my own). Janelle really enjoys people and talking, and I'm not sure that I was the ideal bride for her. I'm not super girly, and I hadn't been dreaming about my wedding for my whole life. I wanted a very simple, basic, relaxed wedding. From my experience with Janelle, I think she would be good for brides who aren't very organized themselves, have a higher (than us) budget, and want a fashionable wedding. We were none of these, and I think that created some issues in our professional relationship. Janelle put in extra effort the day of my wedding, and I really appreciated her positive attitude (my florist was awful in more ways than one, and Janelle did her best to handle the situation professionally). I think that she could do a better job of screening her potential clients to fit her professional profile, ensuring that the bride/customer is getting what they want, and that she can provide the appropriate services. After my wedding, I don't think I needed a planner - I'm naturally rather detailed, as is my mother (we're both work in project management to some degree), and I was interested having in a wedding that was very different from her experience and skill set. Janelle was never unprofessional – just very talkative. Janelle seems like a very kind and generous person, so I don’t want to speak poorly of her. I do sincerely think that she would be wonderful for a certain subset of brides; I would encourage anyone to at least meet with her and decide for herself :)
