Kimberly Potterf Photography

After interviewing 9 other photographers, I realized I kept comparing all of the other photographers to Kim (I met with her first). Her and I hit it off really well, she has an amazing reputation, and, most importantly, her style really fit with what we wanted for our wedding. Our engagement pictures turned out fabulous, and she made a guest book using our pictures and artwork from our invites. During the wedding, she was so calm and easy, and she made our bridal party feel comfortable being photographed. My husband and I don't like being photographed, but she made us look and feel so comfortable and natural. She paid attention to every detail and captured some absolutely stunning posed and candid moments.

A pleasure to work with. Was reasonable (more than reasonable) about her price, and bent over backward to help us create the right photo plan for our wedding. At the wedding, she was almost invisible--I never knew where she was. And yet many of our guests and family commented afterward as to how nice, friendly, and professional she was. Her photos are beyond brilliant, and she has been patient, helpful, and wonderful putting our album together. I cannot recommend Kimberly enough.

Kimberly did a fantastic job on our wedding. She was down to earth and easy to talk to, which I appreciated. I found that during wedding planning, a lot of people in the industry were very cheesy and fake. Kim wasn't at all; she was very cool and easy to be around. She also did a great job and took beautiful photos, including a lot of terrific candid shots. Also a plus was that her prices are very reasonable, and I found that her photo portfolio was just as beautiful as the pricier photographers in the area. Highly recommended!

Kim was absolutely wonderful!! She made us feel so comfortable and captured every moment of the day. The pictures are amazing and will be treasured for a lifetime.

Kimberly was everything I wanted in a photographer. We had such a good time with her. The pictures came out BETTER than I could imagine. She's amazing. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Kim was very fun to work with. She's got a great personality and did a good job taking a lot of artistic and creative pictures at our wedding. She stayed longer than she originally said and the pictures turned out to be amazing!

Kimberly was very difficult to work with and communicate with during the entire process. She was inflexible in scheduling a time to meet before the wedding and made no effort to go our of her way to do so. Even worse, she was inappropriate and unprofessional during the weekend of the events. She created drama in the wedding party, my family, and asked my maid of honor to lie to me about things she did that she knew would be hurtful. Ultimately, she not only ruined aspects of my wedding but also had a negative impact on relationships of those in the wedding party and family. That said, one year after, she has not apologized or acknowledged her inappropriate behavior. I regret the nearly 5K I paid her. I would highly recommend against hiring her for your special day. The only good thing I can say about Kimberly is that she unexpectedly brought an "assistant" with her. Although, she definitely made it a point to let me know it was an "extra" service I was getting since we never agreed to have an assistant as part of the package. I felt so bad, I actually paid her more money after the wedding so that she could pay Caroline extra. Come to think about it, Caroline did take some great shots, I'd probably hire her instead if you are looking for a great photographer in Columbus. Kimberly's albums are poor quality, there were several bubbles in the inside cover. The amount of retouching she does is also very low quality. This is only the tip of the iceberg of things I could write here that would demonstrate how unprofessional and difficult she was to work with.
