Monty was absolutely a joy to work with. The photography was the only part of our special day that we did not have to worry about. We met a few times prior to the wedding to discuss details and he even had a back up plan when things got shifted a little on that day. It did not feel like we were working with just any old photographer, he made us feel so comfortable that he felt like an old friend just taking some pictures. The quality of his work in unmeasurable and his passion for photography shines through his photos and his personality. Don't pass him by! When my husband and I planned our wedding, picking our photographer was the one thing we researched and cared about the most. We sorted through websites and samples of almost 50 photographers. Some of these were eliminated almost immediately after reaching their websites and others we looked into in great depth. After narrowing our search down to three photographers, we set up appointments to meet each of them and look through some sample albums. What Monty (Open Image Studio) had to show us was absolutely AMAZING! The sample albums told the story of each couples wedding day in a way that made it feel as if it were a video. You can sense the raw emotion and true joy through his photographs. I figured that if I could re-live the wedding day of people I didn’t know through looking at the sample albums, I knew that I could completely relax about making the decision to have Monty photograph our wedding. We have absolutely EXQUISITE pictures from our wedding day! They captured so many moments that could have easily been forgotten in the mix of such an overwhelming day. We now have those moments photographed to remember forever and they really show how truly elated we were. Even the “posed” pictures that normally look so stiff in wedding albums come across looking natural. He made us look like we came straight out of a wedding magazine! Monty was great to work with throughout our experience (engagement session and wedding day). He is extremely fun, yet professional, flexible, and most importantly a true artist! There were details I was worried about on our wedding day, but our pictures were not one of them, I knew we were in the best of hands!!

What can I say but "Wow"! Monty and his staff were wonderful to work with and our wedding day pics turned out beautifully! If there is one piece of advice that I can give to brides it is to NEVER go cheap on their wedding day pictures. Monty was willing to work within our budget and he is very competitive with photographers of his calibre. In fact we had our engagement pictures redone with Monty because the 'budget' photographer's pics were VERY disappointing. Monty is very easy going and I felt very comfortable being myself with him. I would highly recommend Open Image Studio to anyone, in fact we referred my sister-in-law to him!

Monty is one of the most creative and professional person I've ever worked with. He and his team was so wonderful in capturing one of the most important days of our lives. They worked tiredlessly through the outdoor shoot of a winter wedding day. Our photos are exquite, like works of art. We loved every moment we spend with him and his team. Our album came to us on time and had been raved by all who had viewed it.

Breathtaking finished album! Great photos, really captured the mood of the day. Monty is professional, creative, great to work with. Was very unobtrusive at the wedding/reception. Took great pictures and the storybook album was breathtaking!

Monte is not only an awesome photographer and artist, but an awesome person as well. He is super talented, super professional, and super nice! He made the photography aspect of the wedding easy; everything went so smoothly. He was very easy to work with (even willing to trek through a soybean field and an old barn just to get the perfect shot), very flexible as far as satisfying our desires for both layout of our album and cost, and very easy to get into contact with even after the wedding was over. And he has this uncanny ability to be everywhere at once - he didn't miss a single memorable moment! Our wedding album was just perfect, his pictures are outstanding - my husband and I couldn't have been more satisfied. I would highly recommend him to anyone, and if I ever need a professional photographer again I will call him first!
