Our CupCakery

We loved the idea of having edible figurines of my husband and I for our cake topper. We were dressed in our OSU jersey's. However, when we got the product on friday night, by the end of the night one of the figurines feet were falling off. We hoped refridgeration would help, but by saturday night (now too late to be fixed)all 4 feet were falling off as well as my husbands figurines hat. By sunday, our wedding day, when they put the figurines on top of the cake it split completely in half and was not even able to be used. Very dissapointed for an $80 cake topper. I have called them back and am waiting to hear back from the owner, as they did not call back when I left them a message on my wedding day about the situation. Other than that mishap Im sure they are a great business, and the cupcakes taste good. It's just very dissapointing to have that happen when that was supposed to be a cool visual point of our wedding.

During the planning process, Our Cupcakery, owned and operated by Linda Kick, was very professional and helpful. During our tasting the cake was moist and very delicious. However, on our wedding day, the delivery and set up of our cake was an hour and a half late with no phone call. The only explanation we were given was that "they had issues". We paid extra for a monogram on our cake and it looked like someone with no cake decorating experience had done it. The cake was also much more dry than the original tasting we did--apparently an assistant baked our cake, which was not the impression we were under when we paid over $600 for a cake.

We had a small cake and serveral cupcakes. They tasted and looked great! Linda was able to design our cake to match our invitations and it was beautiful. I was very happy with this choice.

Linda was great and gave us fabulous cupcakes for our budget. She was flexible in letting us mix and match different cake flavors and icing, providing a variety for our guests. The set up of the cupcakes was awesome!!! They were on tiered plates which we used as our center pieces. Our guests LOVED them and so did we!! We're really looking forward to eating the complimentary bride and groom cake for our first anniversary that Linda provided!!
