James DeCamp is Amazing! Jim and his daughter did an amazing job! They did my photos for my engagement, rehearsal dinner, wedding and reception. I'm very picky with my photography and he was able to understand exactly what we wanted. He was flexible in using multiple cameras, multiple locations all while capturing the moment. Having he and his daughter available allowed for two different perspectives on the formal shots as well as not missing a moment of our big day. The candid photos really captured the whole day and allowed us to see how much fun everyone was having. DeCamp was worth every penny! Having an award winning photographer that is well known in Columbus was the reason we picked Jim! His quality, professionalism and talent is why I recommend him to everyone looking for a photographer.

Great Photos! James was fantastic. We did our engagement photos with him as well as our wedding photos. His prices were very competitive and he was fun to work with.

James was very orgranized with his paperwork ahead of time so I could list important people and what kind of pictures we wanted. He was also very knowledgable about the Columbus area and helped us find an outdoor location that would work well for us rain or shine. He also offers a variety of package options so you can choose one that fits your wedding photography wishes and your budget.

We used Jim for our September wedding in Columbus. He is extremely professional and has done this so many times, you won't have to worry about anything. Jim met with us about 4 weeks before the wedding and went over key people, important photos, timelines, etc. He had a great organizational system for making sure everything got covered. The day of the wedding he arrived early and immediately started working on shots of us getting ready, the dress, shoes, etc. He did not need any direction and had already scouted locations around the synagogue for good spots for the portrait sessions. During the posed photos, he was good about looking out for all the little details - tilt your head this way, flowers that way, move to the left to hide the ugly fixture on the wall, fixing wrinkles in the dress, etc - and giving our families direction who are not that great about getting organized. Several of my attendants remarked how professional he was. During the reception, I hardly noticed him at all, but the pics we just got are fantastic. It was really important to me that we have good photographs of our wedding and I've known other people who decided this was where they would save money, and they were not happy with the results - you get what you pay for :-) I researched a number of studios studios and we talked with photographers from four of them, and Jim was definitely the best value for money we found. I highly recommend him!

Jim was fantastic! His pictures were beautiful and he captured so many moments during the ceremony and reception that we didn't even know had happened. The quality of his pictures were rivaled only by his demeanor. He was a very calming, positive influence on what was a very hectic day. He wasn't pushy or invasive and always seemed to be in the right place at the right time to capture every aspect of our wedding. His upbeat and positive attitude was a great asset and he was extremely professional, yet always personal and approachable. From our initial email to him asking for a meeting to picking up our proof book (which he had for us 3 weeks after the wedding), he has been responsive to every question and request we had. He never took more than a few hours to respond, often doing so within minutes. Jim was well-worth the money we paid for his services and products. He was very flexible with us, meeting with us on weekends, responding to email in the evenings, always catering to our needs. In fact, he even allowed us to change our mind about something we had initially purchased and gave us our money back when we decided we didn't want it. Jim went above and beyond anything we could have expected. We would highly recommend him to anyone.

We can't say enough great things about JIm - his pictures were beautiful and he had so many great and creative ideas for pictures as well as incorporated ideas we had for pictures. He went above and beyond the standard posed family pictures and was able to accurately and honestly capture the emotion of our wedding using his photo documentary style. His many years in the news business really showed.

The pictures are beautiful! Dave and I looked through the whole on-line album last night. :) It was lovely to relive the day through your photos. :-) In terms of what to put into the album . . .  I would focus more heavily on the group shots that have the immediate family - my dad, my mom, dave's parents, our grandparents. Also my mom's brother.  I like the pictures with the kids in them too. Also, the ones of just Dave and me. We should have one from the bridge too. LOL. I think I am going to start listing everything off here they where all so great. :-)

He made me feel very comfortable and was extremely friendly. The pictures were wonderful. Experience awesome.
