River Club at Confluence Park

We had our rehearsal dinner in the Confluence Room at the River Club. The room was beautiful with the backdrop of the city lights, and the fireplace gave the room a cozy, holiday feel for December. Edward and the service team was fantastic. Edward provided valuable advice during the planning stages on food, drink, and decor selections. The night went smoothly and our guests enjoyed the great food and service. This venue is great for both intimate gatherings and large events, and the entire facility focuses on giving guests a great overall experience.

Food was GREAT. Venue was beautiful. difficulty getting the same answer more than once from staff and during the reception the staff came in to talk to us (bride and groom) about changes to the contract and invoice several times as we were eating! very distracting.

Edward and crew provided wonderful service to make my son and daughter-in-law's wedding day (October 21 - Vance/Stacy wedding) a memorable one. Edward and staff were very accomodating and patient with all the questions and requests we had. The River Club at Confluence Park will come highly recommended from us!

We had a great time during our reception! They were very professional and the value was great! The staff was very professional and prompt. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for an elgant reception on a budget!

We held our ceremony on the deck there are reception in the Buckeye Room. The view is definitely what won us over, but the kindness and professionalism of Regina is what made it all worth it. She was available to us for any questions and worked with us to make sure we had a beautiful wedding within our budget. We were able to decorate ahead of time and anything we didn't get done, she did to our exact specifications. The floor had been cleaned and SHE was the one who said it wasn't good enough and made them do it again because it wasn't up to her high standards. All of our guests raved about how delicious the food was and the wait staff were incredible. Very efficient and not intrusive at all. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to hold any kind of event. It definitely gave our wedding the charm we wanted!

Edward Reynoso, Lindsay and the entire staff did an outstanding job for my daughter Lyndsey's wedding and wedding reception. We met with Edward and explained we were on a very tight budget and didn't know if we could even have the event there. Edward worked with us and made the day so wonderful. The food was great, the service was great and the room looked spectacular! They took such great care of us and made us feel like we were dealing with family rather than a business. They all cared about everything going well as much as we did! We were 110% Satisfied with our experience!

Working with Edward at River Club at Confluence Park was so great! He was very patient, kind, and was willing to do anything within his power that we asked. They put our favors on the tables for us. And showed us many options to make our room work for us and the number of people we had. The entire staff was very helpful. Everyone had a good time including the servers who were dancing while serving cake and cleaning up. Everyone was very attentive and nothing seemed to be beyond reason. I wouldnt change a thing about having the reception there.

Everything was fantastic, and the ability to decorate BEFORE the wedding was instrumental. The staff was above and beyond in service and it was perfect!

The River Club made my reception absolutely beautiful. I could not believe how nice the room looked on our wedding day. Many of our guests told me that the food was great, and they loved the views and atmosphere of the building. Throughout the planning process everyone at the River Club/Confluence Park, including Karen and Regina, were extremely responsive and helpful. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for a place to have their reception. A+!

I do not normally write reviews because lets face it if you like it your probably not going to care about someone else's experience. I am writing this to warn other brides, I do not want another bride to go through what I did at the River Club. So I agree with everyone that the view is awesome and that is what sold the place for me. It was a stretch for me but I thought it would be worth it to have them set it all up and have the view..... However my stretching was not worth it.... A few months prior to my wedding the woman I had been working with left for another job and I was placed with the Director of Catering- Sherri. I was skeptical at first but she reassured me she had been doing this for many years. Things went along just fine prior, expect for a week before I had trouble getting things communicated so I drove in and sat down with her. We went through every detail. I left feeling confident the day would run smoothly... The day of my wedding the place was suppose to be set up 10am...we were getting married on the deck and reception in the ballroom.... it was not instead it had tables for 400 people (from a nursing convention held prior) dirty floors and no ac on. The deck still had bistro tables on it. Sherri did not show when she was suppose to and never apologized when she finally did. She was called three times by her own staff and then lied and said she never was called. The site did not get completely set up until an hour prior to my wedding which was 5:30..... 7 hours later then they had promised. Along the way we had several problems with the staff. The bigger issues were...My photographer caught a waitress setting up plates while biteing her nails, when confronted she denied it and to make it worse the Sherri took the employees side. Sherri was caught several times in the hall in front of my guest talking about me and my family saying, she didn't know what my problem was. The day was filled of stress due to her and the staff. At my reception they did not have enough food. I paid for 120 meals and about 10 people didn't show. Yet somehow they told my guest they had no more food. Several peoples meals were cold. There is a lot more to add but the bottom line is Sherri was rude and unprofessional. The staffing is either to short or they are not trained but things do not go the way they are suppose too. By the time I made it down the aisle the only thing that had gone right that day was my hair appointment!

I think Confluence Park is the best venue in the city for an event - the view is jaw-dropping magnificent, and the room with chandeliers is gorgeous. But add to that your able staff - you did a perfect job of setting everything up for us, it looked amazing. And the people who worked our reception were really on-the-ball - very courteous and quick to help in any way. The food was delicious, and plentiful - and still hot even though we had to serve an hour later than we anticipated. Thank you as well for letting us add on an extra hour to make up for the time the wedding party lost in that terrible traffic jam. I thought the temperature of the room was perfect all evening - neither too hot nor too cold. Our guests loved the huge dance floor and used almost every inch of it! My only suggestion would be that you need to buy more of the table number stands so that you have enough for all the tables. I give my unqualified hearty recommendation to The River Club, and especially to Sherri Wilburn, who worked with us to make sure everything was perfect.
