Serenata: A Flute & Guitar Duo

I didn't actually hear much of their performances, but guests said they performed well. I was able to do everything via e-mail which was nice, and they were a good price for live music. We had them perform during our ceremony and cocktail hour. I was really looking forward to hearing them during cocktail hour, but we spent much longer taking family pictures than we anticipated.

They were wonderful. Perfect for our outdoor wedding.

Definitely check out the samples on the website for this duo. We absolutely loved the selection, and we couldn't have been happier with the way Margaret tied our music selections to the ceremony. I just wish I was in the room to hear more of the beautiful flute and guitar! I walked down the aisle to the Beatles "Here There and Everywhere". It was perfect for the upbeat couple that we are. I can still hear it playing in my head - a single flute and guitar. I cannot wait to see it on the video! Serenata-Duo's website is pretty straight forward for communication and payments. I definitely recommend meeting with Margaret before the ceremony to put yourself at ease that she is a wonderful talent who knows exactly what she's doing, and does it well. She told us that not many people actually request to meet ahead of time!

We used Serenata Duo for our ceremony and cocktail hour music. They are a flute and acoustic guitar duet. Margaret Kuhn is the flutist and who I worked with in the planning process. They did a wonderful job. They had a large repertoire of music to choose from, and also found and learned “Storybook Love” from The Princess Bride for my bridesmaids to walk in to. The guests enjoyed listening to them during the cocktail hour. Margaret also came to the rehearsal to make sure we were all on the same page for the ceremony. I would definitely recommend Serenata Duo if you want an elegant, beautiful sound for your wedding ceremony.
