Sylvia was a wonderful wedding planner! From Day1, she asked all the right questions and the end results were WONDERFUL! She was able to bring our ideas to life. I would recommend her to any bride who wants a FABULOUS wedding.

We were VERY HAPPY with the services provided by A Wedding by Sylvia, LLC. Our story..............I am the master planner. I pretty much plan every minute of my life, that is just who I am. We wanted to stay within the budget (my now husband and I had set). So after 6 or 7 months of planning I approached the subject of a wedding planner / day of coordinator. I thought he would not go for the idea, but he was very open to it. Let me tell you after our first meeting with Sylvia, HE was very pleased and excited (I knew I would love working with her after our first conversation). Sylvia is very prompt and helpful. She can do as much or as little as you need her to do. I have a tendency to be very picky and into the details and she was with me smiling very step of the way. There were times when I didn't know what to do next....she was right there with an answer. She seemed to solve the the world's biggest problems (or at least in my mind) with care and a sense of urgency. As our wedding day approached Sylvia became a critical part of making sure the venue was all set the way we wanted it, she contacted the vendors to reconfirm the arrival times and services. She managed our rather large family and wedding party at the rehersal and wedding. By this point, I just did not have the time or effort to deal with all the little things............. (thank goodness for Sylvia).Your wedding day is very important and for all you "Super Women" out there, you just can't do it all (be the beautiful bride, the wedding planner, the go to person, the delivery set up, etc.) It was nice to have soneone take over so I/we could enjoy one another on our wedding day and not worry about logistics of the day. With all of this said, A Wedding by Sylvia,LLC comes HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!! A true blessing and we are very greatful to have worked with her.

Sylvia was my Day-of Coordinator for my wedding in September 6, 2009 at Franklin Park Conservatory. She did an AMAZING job. Even in the time leading up to the wedding, she helped answer questions for me, come up with ideas, and even brought up issues to me I had not thought of before. On the day of the wedding, she was extremely professional, friendly, calm, and prepared! She even had a mini hot glue gun on hand when my father's shoe sole broke right before the ceremony! She handled so many logistical issues behind the scenes without worrying me, and fielded questions and issues, many of which I probably never knew about because she didn't bother me unless absolutely necessary. She knew a great deal about Jewish weddings as well, and knew all the different aspects of it, all the little things that happen, and made everything ran smoothly. My vendors LOVED working with her. In fact my own bridesmaids couldn't stop commenting on how amazing she was, even long after the wedding - and they have asked for her name to recommend her to friends they know planning their weddings. The icing on the cake was that Sylvia took some pictures at my wedding, and uploaded them that very night, so that when I got back to my hotel room and had a second, I was able to look at the pictures from my wedding that I had just returned from! We had the most amazing wedding, and we owe much of that to Sylvia!

Sylvia was an amazing wedding planner. She went above and beyond. Whenever I asked her to do something I could count on the fact that it would be done and done right. I want her to plan all of my future parties! She is responsive, professional and not scared to be assertive so the bride doesn't have to ever be the "bad guy."

Sylvia was the best wedding planner I could ever ask for. She is professional, calm, and detail oriented. I could have not had this event without her. She was more than I expected, and one of the best decisions I ever made.
