Sylvia was great! She thought of things that I had completely forgotten about. She always answered my questions and put me at ease. She was so joyful and always ready to help. She was there every step of the actual day to guide me throughout the cermoney and reception. She was suggested to me by a friend and I couldn's be happier. I HIGHLY recommend Sylvia for any of her services, she is a great pleasure to work with, highly professional, and on her A game at all times!

Sylvia worked with us as our day of coordinator for our at home wedding reception in Columbus, Ohio. We had previously gotten married during a destination wedding, but wanted to have a party locally for friends and family.We had a completely fabulous experience having Sylvia assist us for our reception! She is extremely calm, organized, focused and just overall a terrific person. Her personality is perfect for event planning! She's the perfect mix of friendly, but very on top of things. The experience was more than we had hoped for, and Sylvia really added so much to our day! She worked closely with us the entire evening and stepped up on more tasks than I can count to help the evening run more smoothly. I highly recommend her for any of your wedding needs!

Sylvia was wonderful to work with! I found her at the last minute to help coordinate our reception set-up. She was very accomodating, professional, and kind. I spoke with other planners, but sylvia was the only one who was truly interested and excited about my wedding. She went the extra mile and our wedding day went smoothly. She ensured she knew all the details of the wedding including vendors, time lines, etc. and she took care of everything. The day was flawless and I credit Sylvia with that. I initially started wedding planning on my own, arranging the bulk of my vendors and choosing a site for the wedding and reception. Well, after several months of planning, a busy work and getting frazzled by juggling it all, I decided I needed someone to help me pull the whole event together..... luckily, I found Sylvia. She was such a help... her expertise helped me sort through all the last minute details and complications that seem to get thrown at a bride. Sylvia was also respectful of my budget and even had ideas for helping to trim down costs that were getting out of hand! She helped me with a full timeline of the day and was there the day of to make sure that the day went off without a hitch! Her presence was calming and helpful.... I am so glad that she was there to help out on our special day! Thanks Sylvia!

I did most of the planning on my own but planned for Sylvia to help me with the final logistics portion for the rehearsal and the day of the wedding. She was worth her weight in gold! She knew the answers to all of my questions and was able to coordinate all of the timing with the vendors. I wouldn't have had the slightest idea of what to tell them regarding arrival and organization.The best example I can give is when my photographer emailed me and said that he was confused about a few things and wanted to finalize the plan for the wedding. I told him to call me and we could go through it but i never heard from him. The next day, he emailed me again and said, "nevermind, i just spoke with Sylvia and we are all set. I will see you Saturday." That was the best moment ever!! And that is how it went with everything else!

Sylvia was very professional and responsive to all of our needs right from the start. Most of the things we needed to have a wedding we had already obtained. However, we needed someone to assist us in pulling all the pieces together. Sylvia was definitely the right choice for us. She made our dreams come true. Our wedding was beautiful and flawless. I was not aware of a few floral corrections until weeks later (flower girls petals and alter flower pedestal were black instead of white). Sylvia immediately corrected the problem without getting us involved. We were VERY HAPPY with the services provided by A Wedding by Sylvia, LLC. Our story..............I am the master planner. I pretty much plan every minute of my life, that is just who I am. We wanted to stay within the budget (my now husband and I had set). So after 6 or 7 months of planning I approached the subject of a wedding planner / day of coordinator. I thought he would not go for the idea, but he was very open to it. Let me tell you after our first meeting with Sylvia, HE was very pleased and excited (I knew I would love working with her after our first conversation). Sylvia is very prompt and helpful. She can do as much or as little as you need her to do. I have a tendency to be very picky and into the details and she was with me smiling very step of the way. There were times when I didn't know what to do next....she was right there with an answer. She seemed to solve the the world's biggest problems (or at least in my mind) with care and a sense of urgency. As our wedding day approached Sylvia became a critical part of making sure the venue was all set the way we wanted it, she contacted the vendors to reconfirm the arrival times and services. She managed our rather large family and wedding party at the rehersal and wedding. By this point, I just did not have the time or effort to deal with all the little things............. (thank goodness for Sylvia).Your wedding day is very important and for all you "Super Women" out there, you just can't do it all (be the beautiful bride, the wedding planner, the go to person, the delivery set up, etc.) It was nice to have soneone take over so I/we could enjoy one another on our wedding day and not worry about logistics of the day. With all of this said, A Wedding by Sylvia,LLC comes HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!! A true blessing and we are very greatful to have worked with her.

Sylvia was my Day-of Coordinator for my wedding in September 6, 2009 at Franklin Park Conservatory. She did an AMAZING job. Even in the time leading up to the wedding, she helped answer questions for me, come up with ideas, and even brought up issues to me I had not thought of before. On the day of the wedding, she was extremely professional, friendly, calm, and prepared! She even had a mini hot glue gun on hand when my father's shoe sole broke right before the ceremony! She handled so many logistical issues behind the scenes without worrying me, and fielded questions and issues, many of which I probably never knew about because she didn't bother me unless absolutely necessary. She knew a great deal about Jewish weddings as well, and knew all the different aspects of it, all the little things that happen, and made everything ran smoothly. My vendors LOVED working with her. In fact my own bridesmaids couldn't stop commenting on how amazing she was, even long after the wedding - and they have asked for her name to recommend her to friends they know planning their weddings. The icing on the cake was that Sylvia took some pictures at my wedding, and uploaded them that very night, so that when I got back to my hotel room and had a second, I was able to look at the pictures from my wedding that I had just returned from! We had the most amazing wedding, and we owe much of that to Sylvia!

Sylvia was an amazing wedding planner. She went above and beyond. Whenever I asked her to do something I could count on the fact that it would be done and done right. I want her to plan all of my future parties! She is responsive, professional and not scared to be assertive so the bride doesn't have to ever be the "bad guy."
